Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science OR must obtain a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology or a clinical laboratory science within three (3) years of date in job.
• Three (3) years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Scientist (or Medical Laboratory Technologist) from an accepted certifying agency including ASCP, AAB, AMT

• Leadership experience in a Laboratory
• Training as team leader and facilitator
• Provides clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, objective judgement, self-direction and motivation.
• Ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines, including physicians and nurses.
• Make presentations on topics related to quality and regulatory issues.
• Able to participate as part of a team to accomplish an assigned project

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight for Quality, Compliance and Education for assigned Northside Laboratory locations.
• Assists the Director with organization wide projects and goals.
