About The Position
The Quality Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating product testing programs, regulatory compliance activities, certification requirements, and quality documentation. This position ensures that required testing, certifications, sample submissions, and compliance records are maintained accurately and completed on schedule. The role serves as the primary coordinator between internal departments, manufacturing facilities, customers, and third-party laboratories to support quality and regulatory compliance objectives.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, quality management, or a related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, laboratory coordination, manufacturing, or a related technical environment preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of managing testing programs, certifications, quality systems, or regulatory requirements is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing, water treatment, or industrial environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment of product, raw material, and customer samples to third-party laboratories.
- Maintain quarterly manganese testing schedules and documentation for all company facilities.
- Track and coordinate monthly and quarterly customer-required testing programs.
- Coordinate annual product testing and sample submissions for bid laboratories and qualification programs.
- Support NSF certification activities, including sample submissions, documentation management, and compliance tracking under management oversight.
- Monitor testing schedules, certification requirements, and compliance deadlines.
- Maintain testing records, laboratory reports, certifications, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in maintaining regulatory and customer compliance records.
- Coordinate communication with third-party laboratories regarding testing schedules, sample requirements, and reporting.
- Monitor product shelf-life and expiration dates and coordinate extension testing and related documentation.
- Assist with regulatory audits and compliance reviews by maintaining required records and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems, testing programs, and compliance processes.
- Provide routine communication with sales and other impacted departments to ensure awareness of most recent activities.
- Assist with additional tasks and projects assigned.
