This funded position through the Employment and Social Development Canada Summer Jobs Program will afford a youth the opportunity to gain experience and learn practical skills associated with working in a vision health organization. Reporting to the Program Lead, Advocacy and Accessible Community Engagement (Ontario East), this position will assist in the execution of CNIB's local advocacy initiatives and provide individual advocacy support. The successful candidate will assist with the development and implementation of local advocacy initiatives and programming including planning content, producing materials, and ensuring that regional advocacy volunteers have all the tools and information required to carry out advocacy initiatives.
