The Human Resources Coordinator performs human resources-related duties of moderate difficulty in functional areas to include: staff sourcing and recruitment, employee onboarding and retention, marketing, and customer relations. This role involves responding to internal and external customers, developing and implementing recruitment strategies, sourcing and engaging qualified staff, guiding candidates through hiring and onboarding processes, and handling pre-employment functions. The coordinator will also process personnel action requests, provide customer service to candidates and employees, process staff transfers and separations, analyze market trends, and assist with employment contracts and correspondence. Maintaining up-to-date staff information in district systems and with the State of Arizona, contributing to the HR website content, and providing information on policies and procedures are also key responsibilities. The position requires maintaining knowledge of employment laws and adhering to all policies, regulations, and rules.
