About The Position

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Facilities and Operations Coordinator acts as a key link between procurement and facility operations, ensuring the smooth execution of internal processes and supporting various teams. The role includes creating purchase orders, serving as a point of contact for suppliers and clients, and supporting warehouse supervisors. The coordinator also plays a key role in event planning, vendor coordination, and project support. This is a temporary contract until March 2027.

Requirements

  • College or university degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
  • Experience in project coordination or operations management
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and a strong team spirit

Responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders for all internal services and facility operations (warehouse, garage, distribution)
  • Track outstanding payments and pending orders
  • Obtain and process quotes and proposals from contractors
  • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, subcontractors, and clients for service coordination
  • Support onboarding and integration of new employees
  • Update health and safety dashboards
  • Track and support training initiatives with operations supervisors
  • Follow up on inspections and identify required actions
  • Participate in and follow up on Health & Safety committee activities
  • Ensure compliance with internal warehouse policies
