About The Position

The Education Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Chief Learning and Partnerships Officer (CLPO) in leading strategic plan implementation and educational programming for Griffin MSI. This role is responsible for organizing and coordinating activities related to strategic partnerships, division meetings, and liaising with other divisions to ensure that goals are met.

Requirements

  • One to three years of related work experience; non-profit or management experience is a plus.
  • High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in programs required such as Canva and Asana
  • Focused, extremely organized, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Must have ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive and committee meetings
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbally, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Values kindness, operates with empathy, and enjoys collaboration
  • Lifelong learner, eager to help support a team and gain new skills
  • Passionate about STEAM education and inspiring the next generation of inventive genius
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for all meetings and events, including the preparation of slides, briefing memos, meeting confirmations, etc.
  • Manage the calendar, travel arrangements, mail and calls
  • Prepare and maintain $500 dollar Education Admin budget, and manage purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports
  • Oversee division equipment and supplies
  • Manage external consultant and contractor relationships, as needed, to support various projects
  • Schedule and manage division meetings and serve as liaison to other Griffin MSI divisions
  • Support the CLPO on tasks related to partner stewardship
  • Prepare draft communications and proposals as needed
  • Maintain records of communication and partnership in Salesforce
  • Serve as project coordinator for various division initiatives
  • Resource management of spaces and shared calendars
  • Liaison with Finance Division to support budget and grant tracking
  • Contract submitter for Education Division
  • Travel booking for Education Division
  • Other duties as assigned
