About The Position

Callaway Resort & Gardens is seeking an Education Coordinator to provide administrative support, serve as a primary point of contact for external affiliates, and guide scheduled groups through experiences. This role involves coordinating with various departments, maintaining records, and assisting in the development of new educational programs. The Education Coordinator will also represent the company's image and ensure a positive guest experience.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
Ability to work effectively with children and adults, as well as people of all ages and abilities.
Completion of a background check.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and wind.
Able to lift at least 25 lbs.
A passion for cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support through answering and returning phone calls and emails to resolve inquiries.
Serve as primary point of contact for various representatives, including school group affiliates.
Generate daily activity schedules for visiting groups.
Be onsite and present in-person to guide scheduled groups through scheduled experiences.
Communicate with internal departments to ensure scheduling of activities aligns with departmental operations and programming schedules.
Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure timely completion of financial transactions.
Communicate with the Marketing Team to ensure education programming, workshops, events, and other activities are appropriately advertised.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records in all software programming.
Work with the Discovery Center Manager to develop and aid in the implementation of new workshop opportunities, guest engagement activities, and other education experiences.
Communicate and coordinate with the Manager to arrange participation in community outreach opportunities.
Attend all required program staff meetings and trainings.
Wear issued uniform and adhere to dress code.
Communicate effectively, warmly, honestly, and respectfully with all hosts and guests.
Perform other duties as specified during staff training and onboarding.
