About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking an Education Coordinator to join our growing team. This position works hand-in-hand with the Education Program Manager to build up the education program for the hospital. Along with supporting programs administratively, this role will facilitate and coordinate system-wide trainings and support the administration of the LMS (Learning Management System). Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Two years of related work experience required; prefer experience in a healthcare or education setting
  • BLS Certification required within 3 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and development of clinical education events and activities such as Skills Fair, and others.
  • Provide LMS support including coordinating and assigning eLearning modules and run reports as needed.
  • Manage the Education Center space and Simulation Lab including:
  • Manage reservations.
  • Set up space with the requested equipment.
  • Keep equipment in good working order.
  • Track and order consumables.
  • Support in running simulations (as needed).
  • Track all certification and licensure requirements.
  • Coordinate the certification course enrollment process.
  • Track and organizing skill competencies and other training records.
  • Track and coordinate required training for all hospital staff.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Education Center.
  • Edit SharePoint pages and keep the Education Calendar up to date
  • General administrative duties.
