About The Position

Under minimal supervision, this position performs work activities and projects in a safe, effective, efficient, and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. This role involves coordinating work activities of others, performing varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques, and participating in the planning and organization of outage/project work activities. The position requires decision-making, developing rapport with contractors and customers, and providing training and guidance to lower-level employees. A key aspect is pursuing effective ways to protect and enhance the environment while providing reliable electricity at a competitive cost. The Coordinator Senior role involves more complex problem-solving, monitoring work and asset management, and managing conflict effectively. This role also includes developing and presenting reports, leading meetings, and providing input to project planning and scheduling. It also involves assisting in evaluating contracting methods, reviewing drawings, and preparing cost estimates.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college; OR Associate's technical degree and 3 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment; OR High school diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge.

Position requires working outside in all types of weather and exposure to hazardous materials.
