About The Position

Florida SouthWestern State College is seeking a Coordinator, Campus Events and Operations to manage facility scheduling for events, meetings, and conferences. This role involves coordinating with internal and external clients and managing event resources such as audio-visual equipment, catering, custodial services, room setup, and housing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in business, event management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of professional, full-time experience in event facilities, i.e., facility management, event management, or related fields.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work evening, early morning, and/or weekend hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel independently to all FSW campuses in Lee, Charlotte, Collier, and Hendry counties and off-site athletic facilities on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule assigned facilities for events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Coordinate event resources including audio-visual, catering, custodial, room set-up, and housing.
  • Work with internal and external customers.
