About The Position

This role serves as a crucial liaison between the FOX Network and over 70 Broadcast Affiliates, coordinating with station representatives. The position involves being a primary point of contact for local Program Directors and Creative Services Directors, managing inquiries, providing essential information and assets, and maintaining regular communication via phone and email. Key responsibilities include monitoring and verifying station program schedules to ensure timely airing of FOX programming, collecting and tracking station clearance forms, and maintaining accurate personnel contact lists and affiliate market data. The role also collaborates with Programming liaisons to create programming announcements, update calendars, and distribute information to clients and stakeholders. Additionally, the Coordinator will support station Creative Services Directors with promotional guidance and materials, assist with the Affiliate Co-Op Media program, and provide general administrative support to the Broadcast Distribution & Marketing department, including answering phones and assisting with various projects. This is a detailed and meticulous position requiring strong time management, a sense of urgency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, offering significant experience in business administration within the entertainment industry.

Requirements

  • College degree (preferred)
  • 1-2 years job experience in media or related field or entry level business experience, preferably in media or network television
  • Exceptional knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills a must
  • Basic math skills required
  • Superior skills in grammar, editing and proofing
  • Ability to respectfully interface with executives from various departments and divisions
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a challenging environment with multiple deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and excellent follow-through skills
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, able to take initiative and work independently
  • Available for overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the FOX Network and 70+ Broadcast Affiliates in coordination with station reps
  • Serve as a point of contact for local Program Directors and Creative Services Directors, responding to inquiries and providing necessary information / assets, and maintaining regular contact via phone and email
  • Monitor and verify station program schedules to ensure FOX programming airs as planned, as well as collect and track station clearance forms
  • Maintain personnel contact lists for supervisors’ affiliate market lists along with ensuring market information and ownership data is current and accurate across all internal documents
  • Create programming announcements
  • Update internal and external programming calendars
  • Distribute information to broadcast affiliate clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support station Creative Services Directors by providing promo guidance, distributing promotional materials, and helping track marketing efforts
  • Build compelling sales decks; strong visual storytelling and sharp eye for layout and branding a plus
  • Support day-to-day operations for the Affiliate Co-Op Media program, including drafting communications and coordinating asset requests and delivery in support of station media buys
  • Provide additional support for the Broadcast Distribution & Marketing department as it relates to answering phones, assisting with calendars, projects, and other initiatives as they arise
