Coordinated Entry Specialist
About The Position
The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) seeks a Coordinated Entry (CE) Specialist who will work to ensure that persons experiencing homelessness in our area receive consistent, appropriate, and equal access to available housing resources. Coordinated Entry (CE) is a coordinated multi-agency system of intake, assessment, prioritization, and referral for people experiencing housing crises. Additionally, the position completes standardized intakes, assessments, and makes referrals to services for people experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness. The CE Specialist serves as the liaison to the CE system for community partners and consumers.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented individual
- Able to relate to others in a positive, confidential, and non-judgmental way
- Enjoy developing and maintaining organizational systems
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Access to reliable transportation
