Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid 5+ years of experience in software development and delivery, and previous experience in architectural design. Architecture certifications are valued, with a focus on cloud computing and the Azure platform.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, tools, and technologies (including, but not limited to: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Containers, Azure Blob storage, Azure Networking and Azure Security, API Management, Azure Gateway).
  • Experience with agile teams/processes and methodologies, and familiarity with DevOps applications and cloud architecture.
  • Availability for 100% on-site work in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
  • Proficiency in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in Azure: Architecture, API Management, etc.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop principles and strategies: event-driven architecture, HA, DRP, SDLC acceleration with AI.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Microsoft Azure cloud and Arca's digital ecosystem tools to transform requirements into a specific solution architecture design.
  • Present new architectural patterns and technological standards in enterprise forums as needed, complying with enterprise standards such as microservices architecture patterns, containerization, and defined security architecture.
  • Assist in defining the technical direction for the product/group and coordinate with product teams to ensure each team has defined architecture and patterns.
  • Participate in writing user stories and collaborate with the product team to identify technical direction and definition of done/ready to achieve story objectives when creating solutions.
  • Evaluate technological trends and product performance to identify architectural challenges and collaborate with the product manager to schedule them within the DevOps team.
