About The Position

BC Systems, Inc is a distribution and cooling company of raw agricultural products. An Assistant Supervisor provides support to all staff who receive, ship, and inventory those commodities and related supplies.

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors through all seasons and weather types including wind and rain.
• Ability to work indoors under refrigerated conditions to 32F, wet, dusty, and noisy conditions.
• Ability to work day, swing, or night shifts within a 7-day work week schedule.
• Full time positions are expected to travel throughout the year with the companies operations in California and Arizona.
• Acknowledge all types of carton materials, products and colors used in labeling.
• Literacy required, English required.
• Familiarized with the cooling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to all staff who receive, ship, and inventory commodities and related supplies.
• Processes all documents in both paper and electronic formats in a "real-time" environment.
• Monitors direct and indirect operations costs and compares them to budgets.
• Gives tours as designated.
• Meets all job description requirements for each of the positions that are direct reports.
• Leads employees assigned as direct reports.
• Evaluates employees annually on their performance.
• Ensures execution of facility and equipment inspections including: 12-Pallet and 6,000 # forklifts, vacuum tubes, and loading dock restraints.
