About The Position

BC Systems, Inc is a distribution and cooling company of raw agricultural products. A Assistant Supervisor provides support to all staff who receives, ship, and inventory those commodities and related supplies.

Requirements

Literacy required, English required.

Familiarized with the cooling equipment.

Responsibilities

Provides support to all staff who receives, ships, and inventories commodities and related supplies.
Ability to work outdoors through all seasons and weather types including wind and rain, indoors under refrigerated conditions to 32F, wet, dusty, and noisy conditions.
Ability to process all documents in both paper and electronic formats in a "real-time" environment.
Ability to work day, swing, or night shifts within a 7-day work week schedule.
Full time positions are expected to travel throughout the year with the companies operations in California and Arizona.
Acknowledge all types of carton materials, products and colors used in labeling.
Ability to monitor direct and indirect operations costs and compare to budgets.
Give tours as designated.
Meet all job description requirements for each of the positions that are direct reports.
Ability to lead employees assigned as direct reports.
Evaluate employees annually on their performance.
Ensure execution of facility and equipment inspections including: 12-Pallet and 6,000 # forklifts, Vacuum tubes, Loading dock restraints.
