About The Position

Join Taste Buds Kitchen as a Culinary Cooking Class Instructor and host cooking classes for kids, families, and adults. The role is suited to a high-energy person who enjoys inspiring others to have fun in the kitchen. Taste Buds Kitchen provides culinary entertainment in a fun, beautiful, state-of-the-art Kitchen Studio, with programs designed to engage and delight guests. Offerings include hands-on classes, camps, birthday parties, and field trips for children, as well as BYOB date-night classes, celebrations, showers, and corporate events for adults.

Requirements

Be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Have curiosity about and passion for food and culinary entertainment.
Have excellent communication skills, especially with children.
Be proficient in a range of cooking and baking techniques.
Be confident speaking in front of groups using an amplified voice.
Have at least one year of experience entertaining children and/or adults.
Be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
Be CPR certified.

Responsibilities

Instruct cooking classes, camps, and parties for guests ages 2–99.
Engage guests and teach cooking and baking skills related to each class menu.
Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent guest experience.
Interact with guests to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work independently or manage and supervise culinary assistants at larger events.
Set up before classes and clean up afterward.
Maintain a controlled, clean environment and provide first aid or CPR treatment if needed.
