About The Position

HOKALI is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated After School Enrichment Educators to supervise and engage students during after-school enrichment programming. The role is suited to educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and want to create safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. HOKALI is actively seeking instructors with teaching experience.

The program runs from October 21 to December 16 on Wednesdays in Modesto. Educators lead sessions for TK/K/1st grade from 1:30–2:15 PM, 2nd/3rd/4th grade from 2:25–3:25 PM, and 5th–8th grade from 3:35–4:35 PM. Compensation is $50 per hour.

HOKALI simplifies how schools book, organize, and manage after-school programs and camps, helping schools offer onsite programs that enrich students’ learning and extracurricular experiences.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able and willing to complete three hours of online training.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Teaching experience is actively sought.

• Educators may bring their own ideas to class while using the provided structured lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, and keep spaces clean and safe.
