Cooking After School Program Educator - Modesto
About The Position
HOKALI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated After School Enrichment Educator to supervise and engage students during after-school cooking enrichment programming in Modesto. The role involves creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences for students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. Structured lesson plans are provided, with flexibility to bring personal ideas to class. The program runs from October 21 through December 16 on Wednesdays. Sessions are 1:30–2:15 PM for TK through 1st grade, 2:25–3:25 PM for 2nd through 4th grade, and 3:35–4:35 PM for 5th through 8th grade. Compensation is $50 per hour. Educators must be willing to complete three hours of online training.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Teaching experience is actively sought.

Responsibilities
- Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.

- Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
- Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.
