About The Position

The Cook cooks, prepares, and packages food product according to operational and quality standards. The role operates assigned food stations, follows company policies and operational standards, and performs regular cleaning and sanitation duties. The position requires regular attendance and work during irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The work takes place in a restaurant environment and involves continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting, with exposure to heat, hot liquid shortening, freezer conditions, and occasionally variable weather temperatures.

Requirements

• Ability to move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cook, prepare, and package food product pursuant to operational and quality standards.
• Operate dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food preparation stations as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitation, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Report customer or employee complaints and issues to the Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
