About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is seeking a part-time Cook for its senior living community in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. The community has 32 beds in Memory Care and Assisted Living. The role includes a mix of full and half shifts, with full-day weekend shifts and half-day weekday shifts. Menus are planned in advance; the Cook is responsible for cooking and cleanup.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Dependability and reliability.
- Passion for the well-being of older adults.
- Adaptability and flexibility, including comfort with work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously with little direction.
Nice To Haves
- Related experience as a Cook, Chef, Dietary Aide, or Server.
- Experience in a senior living community.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals using menus planned in advance.
- Clean up after cooking.
