About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is seeking a part-time Cook for its senior living community in Anoka, Minnesota. The community has 32 beds across Memory Care and Assisted Living. Menus are planned in advance; the role focuses on cooking and clean-up. The schedule includes every-other-weekend shifts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekday shifts from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a mix of full and half shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Passionate about the well-being of older adults.
- Adaptable and flexible, and comfortable with work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
- Detail-oriented.
- Able to work autonomously with little direction.
Nice To Haves
- Related experience as a Cook, Chef, Dietary Aide, or Server.
- Experience in a senior living community.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to menus planned in advance.
- Clean up after cooking.
