About The Position

As a Cook at Miller’s Health Systems, you prepare meals and nourishments using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets, paying special attention to appearance. You follow regulations and company policies related to diets, food preparation standards, and infection control. You oversee the dietary aide during your shift and receive and inspect food deliveries for accuracy and quality. The position is part-time on the day shift, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM, with pay of $16–$16.75 per hour.

Requirements

• Basic cooking skills and ability to follow recipes.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety, preparation, and sanitation standards.
• Passion for delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work with a team and help direct others.
• Neat appearance and professional behavior.
• Successfully complete the pre-employment process and screening.
• Pass a physical examination conducted for gainful employment within the facility.
• Satisfactorily complete required orientation and training.
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Previous experience in food service.
