About The Position

River Landing at Sandy Ridge, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is hiring a part-time Cook for 29 hours per week. The role requires weekday and weekend availability from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Starting pay is $20 per hour or more, based on experience. The Cook prepares a la carte and banquet production using standardized recipes and maintains the setup and stocking of station-based par sheets. The position calls for strong skill and technique in an à la minute line-production environment, the ability to read tickets clearly, and the ability to produce consistent food in a high-volume setting. The Cook may also prepare special items as directed by a supervisor. A working knowledge of cooking techniques and procedures, food storage, temperature holding, and sanitation is required.
