Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen operations
Strong communication and basic math skills
Ability to follow recipes and demonstrate culinary techniques
Being passionate about people and service.
Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees.
Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
Basic math skills are used frequently when handling cash or credit.
Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements, standard recipes, and brand standards to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations
Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all food and supplies
Inspect ingredients to ensure only the highest quality standards are met
Monitor portion control and maintain consistency in food preparation
Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, steamers, and more
Prepare daily requisitions for food and supplies
Report maintenance issues promptly
Participate in inventory, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with kitchen management and other departments
Provide warm, knowledgeable service to enhance the guest experience
Address guest concerns proactively and professionally
Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude
Communicate effectively across departments
Support team members and assist other departments when needed
Follow all company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures
Maintain knowledge of emergency protocols and security practices
Handle equipment and materials safely and responsibly
