About The Position

Hospitality Management Corporation is seeking a Cook for the BAYMONT BY WYNDHAM OF HEARNE TX. The Cook prepares banquet and restaurant food orders, keeps menu-item supplies stocked, oversees the dishwasher to ensure utensils are available for guests, maintains kitchen cleanliness, and produces breakfast. The position also includes other duties assigned by the Executive Chef and General Manager.

Requirements

• Must have a food handler's permit.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work the PM shift.
• Basic food preparation skills.
• Must be dependable regarding attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

• Training in food preparation is desirable.
• One year of food preparation experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet items according to function sheets.
• Prepare all food orders from the restaurant.
• Ensure the line is properly stocked for menu items.
• Supervise the dishwasher to ensure adequate utensils are available for guest needs.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness at all times.
• Produce breakfast.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Chef and General Manager.
