About The Position

The Cook prepares food for the Food Service department according to company guidelines, producing quality food and products that meet or exceed customer and company expectations. The role supports customer service by maintaining a positive, friendly atmosphere and providing prompt, courteous, and efficient assistance. Food Service Associates may be cross-trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
Ability to have constant daily contact and interaction with individuals at various levels.
Ability to attend onsite work during scheduled shifts and adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Nice To Haves

Food Service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous and efficient customer service and contribute to a positive, friendly working environment.
Prepare Food Service department items according to the manual guidelines, when applicable.
Prepare grill orders and use the fryer according to manual guidelines.
Slice meats and cheeses.
Assist with proper product rotation in coolers and freezers and maintain product code dates.
Put up stock.
Follow the company Food Safety program.
Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean, including washing dishes, mopping, and maintaining ventilation.
Assist with ordering products and supplies needed for daily operations.
Help ensure packaged self-service products have the correct packaging, weights, and ingredients to meet local weights and measures regulations.
Attend scheduled onsite shifts and follow company time and attendance policies.
Expect to be cross-trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
