Requirements

WOK COOK EXPERICE A PLUS
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Have the ability to communicate effectively in English
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.
An upbeat and friendly attitude.
Open availability and flexible schedule for demanding hours.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

Prepare food for service. Using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
Maintains safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment.
Restocks and/or breaks down workstation at the conclusion of the shift.
Assists in controlling product costs by ensuring the proper management of product waste.
Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
Speed, and efficiency are of the utmost importance. Ability to multi-task and organizational structure.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
