About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Cooks to work at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Cooks prepare food and beverage products for guests in a fast-paced kitchen, following recipe, food preparation, and sanitation guidelines. They set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment, maintain clean and stocked workstations, collaborate with team members and management, and follow assigned opening and closing procedures. No experience or diploma is required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with close attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a team player, follow procedures, and take directions.
• Basic math skills, including calculating and following recipe measurements.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs or more.
• Ability to stand for long periods and bend, lift, and reach.
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
• Ability to work in variable temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and beverage products for guests according to supervisor assignments, recipe guidelines, preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
• Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Work cooperatively with team members and management.
• Follow assigned opening and closing procedures.
