About The Position
The Cook prepares a diverse menu that reflects dietary preferences and accommodates dietary restrictions. The role provides high-quality dietary services in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols and maintains kitchen and dining areas. The Cook interacts compassionately with residents, helping foster a warm and supportive environment grounded in love, compassion, and dignity. The position also participates in ongoing learning through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Current ServSafe Manager certification.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a diverse menu that incorporates dietary preferences and accommodates restrictions.
- Provide high-quality dietary services while complying with safety and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain food service areas, including the kitchen and dining areas.
