About The Position
Heritage Woods of Flora is seeking a Part-Time Cook for the 2nd shift. This role involves preparing a diverse menu that accommodates various dietary preferences and restrictions, ensuring high-quality dietary services while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols. The Cook will also maintain food service areas, engage with residents compassionately, and participate in continuous learning and development opportunities.
Requirements
- Must hold current ServSafe Manager certification
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Prepares a diverse menu that incorporates a variety of dietary preferences and accommodates for various restrictions
- Demonstrates dedication to high-quality dietary services while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols
- Maintains food service areas including the kitchen and dining areas
- Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
- Participates in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
