About The Position
The Cook prepares a diverse menu that incorporates a variety of dietary preferences and accommodates dietary restrictions. The role provides high-quality dietary services while following safety and sanitation protocols and maintaining food service areas, including the kitchen and dining areas. The Cook engages with residents compassionately and helps foster a warm, supportive environment that reflects love, compassion, and dignity. The position also involves ongoing learning through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
Requirements
- Current ServSafe Manager certification.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
