About The Position

The Cook prepares food for the Food Service department according to company guidelines and produces quality food and products that meet or exceed customer and company expectations. The role supports efficient, courteous customer service and helps create a friendly, fun, customer-first environment through a positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork. Food Service Associates may be cross-trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
Ability to maintain daily contact and interaction with individuals at various levels.
Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts.

Nice To Haves

Food Service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service; greet and speak with customers.
Prepare Food Service department items according to manual guidelines, when applicable.
Prepare grill orders and use the fryer according to manual guidelines.
Slice meats and cheeses.
Help rotate products in coolers and freezers and maintain product code dates.
Put up stock.
Follow the company Food Safety program.
Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean, including washing dishes, mopping, and maintaining ventilation.
Assist with ordering products and supplies needed for daily operations.
Ensure packaged self-service products have proper packaging, correct weights, and ingredients in accordance with local weights and measures regulations.
Contribute to a positive, friendly, and fun working environment through flexibility and teamwork.
Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts and adhere to company time and attendance policies.
