About The Position

The Cook prepares food for the Food Service department according to company guidelines and produces quality food and products that meet or exceed customer and company expectations. The role supports a friendly, customer-first environment and may involve cross-training in multiple areas with varying responsibilities. The Cook must attend on-site work during scheduled shifts and follow company time and attendance policies.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
Ability to maintain daily contact and interaction with individuals at various levels.
Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts.

Nice To Haves

Food Service experience is a plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities

Provide efficient, courteous customer service and contribute to a friendly, fun working environment through flexibility and teamwork.
Greet and speak with customers and provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
Prepare Food Service department food according to manual guidelines, when applicable.
Prepare grill orders and use the fryer according to manual guidelines.
Slice meats and cheeses.
Assist with rotating products in coolers and freezers and maintaining product code dates.
Put up stock.
Follow the company Food Safety program.
Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean, including washing dishes, mopping, and maintaining ventilation.
Assist with ordering products and supplies needed for daily operations.
Help ensure packaged self-service products have appropriate packaging, correct weights, and ingredients in accordance with local weights and measures regulations.
Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts and adhere to company time and attendance policies.
Cross-train in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
