About The Position
Experienced Hotel Cooks - $28.50/hr | Chicago Calling all experienced Cooks! Hospitality Services Group (HSG) is hiring talented culinary professionals for a busy, full-service hotel in Chicago. If you know your way around a professional kitchen and can jump in and keep up during a busy service, this is a great opportunity to earn $28.50/hour!
Requirements
- Professional cooking experience required
- Strong knife and basic culinary skills
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Dependable and comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen
Nice To Haves
- Hotel, restaurant, banquet, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Handle prep, grilling, sautéing, frying, and other cooking duties
- Set up and maintain your station
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain proper food temperatures
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Support the culinary team during busy service periods
