About The Position

The Cook cooks, prepares, and packages food products according to operational and quality standards. The role operates assigned food-preparation and cooking stations, follows company policies and procedures, and performs regular cleaning and sanitation duties. The position requires regular attendance and may include irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. The Cook reports to the Manager on Duty (MOD).

Requirements

• General restaurant or retail knowledge.
• Basic math and reading skills.

• Multitasking skills.
• Ability to move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cook, prepare, and package food products according to operational and quality standards.
• Operate the dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food-preparation stations as assigned.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitation, including disposing of trash; mopping and sweeping; washing dishes and food-preparation tools; wiping counters; sanitizing food-preparation areas; cleaning equipment; and emptying used grease.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Report customer or employee complaints and issues to the Manager on Duty.
• Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
