About The Position

The Cook cooks, prepares, and packages food products according to operational and quality standards. The position operates assigned food preparation and cooking stations and follows company policies, procedures, and operational standards. It also performs regular cleaning and sanitation duties and requires regular attendance. The work takes place in a restaurant environment with continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting, as well as exposure to heat, hot liquid shortening, freezer conditions, and occasional extreme weather temperatures.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Cook, prepare, and package food products according to operational and quality standards.
• Operate assigned dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food preparation stations.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Report customer or employee complaints and issues to the Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
