About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Cook at Boulevard Wentzville in Wentzville, Missouri. The Cook prepares menu items according to established standards and recipes, providing high-quality food that is attractively presented and served on time. The role follows health and sanitation protocols, including proper hygiene, safe food preparation, and maintaining appropriate food temperatures. The Cook also learns residents’ preferences and needs and participates in resident orientations. The position is scheduled Sunday through Thursday and pays $20–$28.75 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Must possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified by the Department of Health.
Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision.
Proficient written and oral communication skills with management, professional, and support staff.
Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in close contact with extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers.
Able to work primarily indoors and also be available to work outside for events.
Must be criminally cleared.
