About The Position

Elim Wellspring, a Cassia community in Princeton, Minnesota, is hiring an on-call Cook. The Cook partners with the Dietary Manager and Regional Dietitian to plan menus and prepares nutritious, appetizing meals using fresh, high-end ingredients. The role requires following recipes and dietary guidelines while maintaining food quality, customer service, and kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

This is an on-call position with 8-hour day shifts. The wage range is $22.50–$24 per hour, depending on experience. The position is located at 701 First St., Princeton, MN 55371.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of commercial cooking or food-preparation experience.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to stand for the length of the shift.
• Selected candidates must pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents and guests with fast, friendly, excellent customer service.
• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards.
• Observe and report low stock or high-demand food choices.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition or abilities.
• Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory food-service standards.
• Inspect the kitchen for compliance with government and company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
• Partner with the Dietary Manager and Regional Dietitian to plan menus.
