About The Position
The Cook is responsible for maintaining the standards established by the executive chef, which includes preparation and presentation of food, tasting, and sanitation. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a high volume kitchen assisting in the preparation of food
- Must possess knowledge of sanitation and quality food preparation techniques
- Must be flexible and able to work all kitchen areas
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able interact effectively with other staff to produce a positive guest experience
- Candidates need to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment. These background checks may include, but are not limited to: Credit Check, Criminal Background Check, Drug Screen.
Responsibilities
- Cutting or peeling fruits and vegetables
- Boiling water for rice or pasta
- Making sure food on the menu is available and prepared
