About The Position

As a Cook at Fieldstone of DeWitt, you will support residents’ health, happiness, and daily experience by preparing meals and maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. You will prepare hot and cold dishes using chef-approved recipes, collaborate with Chefs and Culinary Directors, and help create meals that accommodate modified diets. The role also involves monitoring food quality and portions, following sanitation and waste-control practices, and contributing to a safe, efficient kitchen. The opening may involve shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, or 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The position is based at Fieldstone of DeWitt, 1301 Maynard Way, DeWitt, Iowa 52742. The stated pay range is $16.92–$24.85 per hour, with starting pay based on experience.

Requirements

At least one year of cooking experience.
Successfully complete a pre-hire health assessment, drug screen, and tobacco screen before beginning employment.
