About The Position

The Optimist, part of Rocket Farm Restaurants, is seeking an experienced Cook to join its culinary team. The restaurant offers a seaside fish camp experience featuring high-quality, sustainably sourced seafood and beach-food classics. The role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a meticulous eye for detail. Cooks prepare hot and cold food items, communicate and expedite food items on the back line, and manage their assigned station to help ensure guest satisfaction. Culinary training is preferred but not required. Pay is $16 to $24 per hour, based on experience and ability.

Requirements

• Experienced Cook.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the preparation of hot and cold food items.
• Ability to communicate and expedite food items on the back line.
• Ability to manage an assigned station.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
