Cook- Morning Shift
About The Position
As a Team Member at Border Foods, the Cook helps feed customers with great-tasting food and provide service that encourages them to return. The role represents the brand and supports the restaurant team in preparing and assembling orders, serving guests, and keeping work and dining areas clean and safe. Morning and daytime availability is sought; exact shifts vary by restaurant, with scheduling based on each location’s needs. The position follows a priority sequence of safety, service, cleaning, and stocking. Requirements
- Availability to work morning and/or daytime shifts.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing great service to every guest.
- Reliability and willingness to help wherever the team needs support.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food ingredients.
- Assemble food orders and check that orders are correct.
- Package products.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Know menu items and promotions.
- Greet customers in the restaurant.
- Take orders.
- Handle payments and thank customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe working and dining environment.
- Follow the priority sequence of safety, service, cleaning, and stocking.
