About The Position

As a Cook at High Point Residence Kankakee, you will prepare nutritious and appealing meals that support residents’ quality of life. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a cooking or food preparation role.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Culinary expertise.
• Attention to detail in following recipes and meeting food safety standards.
• Organizational skills for managing inventory and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Communication skills for collaborating with the dietary team and understanding residents’ needs.

• Experience working in a healthcare or residential setting.
