About The Position

The Hyatt Regency Aurora Denver Conference Center is seeking a Hotel Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items in a busy hotel kitchen serving guests at the restaurant, lounge, events, and conferences. The position works in a fast-paced, collaborative culinary environment alongside experienced chefs and other team members, with opportunities to develop cooking techniques and knowledge. The kitchen is described as well-equipped and maintained, with quality equipment and ingredients. The role contributes to guest satisfaction and the hotel’s service reputation by preparing food to established recipes and presentation standards, maintaining food quality and safe work practices, and interacting professionally with guests, vendors, and colleagues. The position is part-time, and applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Prior experience in food service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Organize and stock food stations with the ingredients needed for the shift.
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards using grilling, broiling, and sautéing techniques.
Follow storage and waste-control guidelines for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy to maintain food quality.
Clean and sanitize counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and refrigerators in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with guests, vendors, and team members.
