About The Position

D'Youville Life & Wellness Community, a faith-based, nonprofit organization established in 1960, provides short-term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care. They are seeking an experienced Cook to join their team. The role involves preparing and cooking meals for the community, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and potentially taking meal orders and serving residents.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience and/or training or experience of equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of special diets required.

Nice To Haves

• Current Servsafe certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for the community.
• Maintain standards of kitchen cleanliness.
• As needed, take meal orders from residents and serve them at counter or tables.
