Requirements
- Must be interested in geriatrics
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledgeable and experience in dietary techniques and procedures
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals, desserts and snacks in accordance with the posted menu schedule; make sure that all special diets and dietary concerns are followed
- Serve meals that are palatable and presentable
- Responsible for keeping work area clean, organized, sanitized, and may include washing pots and pans
- Know health code requirements for food and beverage storage, hot/cold holding temperatures, and maintain documentation
