We operate over 1,000 hotel rooms and serve more than half a million customers annually. We are currently looking for a Cook to join our team. Requirements

Any combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform.
Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation.
Knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment, i.e., stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, sous vide, etc.
Ability to obtain any government-required food service licenses or certifications.

Nice To Haves

Grade school education is preferred.
Prior hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present food according to standard recipes to create quality food products.
Assist the food and beverage department in the preparation of all items for food and beverage outlets and public meeting spaces.
Cook items for breakfast and meeting functions in a timely and efficient manner.
Organize the kitchen to respond promptly and efficiently to all guest orders and control presentation consistency and quality food per property & company standards.
Review upcoming events daily and advise the General Manager of purchasing requirements for those events and all items used daily.
Report any equipment in need of repair to the General Manager.
Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by the General Manager to adhere to health standards.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
