About The Position
Cooks are responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving well-balanced, delicious meals, as well as cleanup and food storage. The role uses menus specified for seniors and requires adaptability and critical thinking to make changes as needed to ensure resident satisfaction. The employer offers a full training program and is willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preparing food from scratch, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, present, and serve meals.
- Clean up after meal preparation and service, and store food appropriately.
- Use menus designed for seniors and adapt meals as needed to support resident satisfaction.
