Responsible for achieving all standards for basic food preparation and cooking. This role involves preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food, maintaining refrigeration and storage areas for proper product handling and rotation, and ensuring a clean and sanitary culinary workstation in accordance with health regulations. The position also requires adherence to recipes and specifications, assisting with guest requests and stocking dishes, and proper storage and rotation of food products. Daily tasks include using measuring tools, stirring and straining soups and sauces, and performing proper receiving, thawing, storage, proportioning, sanitation, heating, holding, and re-thermalization of various food items.
