About The Position

The COO Operations Summer 2027 Program offers internship opportunities for undergraduate students in business support and product areas within Operations. Summer Interns will gain hands-on experience, exposure to capital markets products and services, and work alongside experienced professionals. The program seeks well-rounded individuals with strong academic achievement, technical and analytical skills, leadership qualities, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The 10-week program includes practical training, capital markets experience, and career-building mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
• Graduating December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Basic market knowledge and a demonstrated keen interest in the financial markets.
• Strong analytical and personal skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, business sense and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in high pressure environments.
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas recommended: Customer Service, Accounting, Financial Planning/Analysis, Data Entry.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in areas such as Brokerage Operations, Front Office Trade Support, and Referential Data Management.
• Obtain hands-on experience working alongside experienced business professionals.
• Gain exposure to different areas of capital markets.
• Develop an understanding of RBC Capital Markets capabilities.
